Directions: Students will complete a unit that allows them to understand the trial process and legal system in their state.
- Visit http://www.courts.wa.gov/education/lessons/index.cfm?fa=education_lesson... and briefly review what is on this website.
- Create a file called mock_trial.doc.
- Save the file in the social studies folder.
- Link the file to social studies home page.
- Create a script for the mock trial that could be used for a 30 minute mock trial movie.
- Advanced students will form a production team and produce the video.
