Directions: This forensics units will introduce students to crime scene basics. Students will develop an understanding of how to view a crime scene and how evidence is collected and utilized by investigators.
- Create a folder called science
- Create a science index.html and link it to the main portfolio homepage.
- Create a folder called forensics inside the science folder.
- Save all parts of this project in the forensics folder.
- Connect the forensics assignments to the science homepage.
- To start the project visit http://sciencespot.net/Pages/classforsci.html.
- Download or view the crimescene basics powerpoint and save it in the forensics folder.
- Complete the worksheet that goes along with the powerpoint. You may need to copy the text from the .pdf file and paste it to a word doc. Save the document in the forensics folder.
- View the eyewitness powerpoint and complete the worksheet as well.
- Finally take the unit 1 quiz and save it in the forensics folder.
- Advanced students may want to complete additional units.
