Directions: Design and engineer a water bottle rocket.
- Complete the engineering safety units located on the dliteracy.org web site.
- Select three to five other student engineers and complete this project as a team.
- Locate the bottle rocket unit on dliteracy.org and complete each step.
- Locate the bottle rocket packet and build the rocket.
- Fly the rocket.
- Create an Engineering section in your portfolio and document the project.
- Include a photo of your rocket, a paragraph describing the project, and a paragraph describing how a second rocket design would produce better flight results.
