Directions: Identify an activity that you do that is unique and interesting. Create a 3 -5 minute video that documents the activity.
- Identify a unique skill or ability. Examples may include karate, music, sports, art, or 4H.
- Write a multi paragraph story that describes each of the following questions.
- Answer who are you.
- Answer what you do that is unique.
- Answer where do you do this unique activity.
- Answer when does this activity take place.
- Answer why do you do this activity.
- Answer how do you do this unique activity.
- Use the story to create a story board that identifies the major scenes for the video.
- Identify how many scenes are needed per paragraph.
- Identify what text or audio is needed for each scene.
- Identify what video is needed for each scene.
- Include sound bites, video of the activity, and still photos.
- Include at least 5 scenes in the project.
- Create the video using Windows Movie Maker or another video editing suite.
- Save the final video file as a high quality .wmv file.
- Embed the video in the appropriate section of the portfolio. Usually hobbies.
- Plan to present the video to a larger audience such as a student news broadcast.
